  • Tickets can be exchanged for a travel voucher or moved to another day/time with a processing fee, provided at least 24 hours' notice is given.
  • Cancellations or modifications are NOT permitted within 24 hours prior to departure.
  • Once a ticket has been rescheduled, it cannot be rescheduled again or refunded.
  • Tickets are non-transferable — only the passenger named on the original ticket may use it.
  • Tickets are valid ONLY for the scheduled date and time purchased. Missed trips require a new fare.
  • Rider Express is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.
  • Rider Express is not responsible for late arrival and no-shows. Missed tickets will be void and cannot be used for another time.
  • Rider Express is not responsible for delays and/or service cancellations resulting from force majeure situations such as bad weather, road closures, accidents, and any other factor not under the direct control of the company.

For smooth and timely boarding, passengers must have their ticket information ready along with a government-issued photo ID. Printed tickets are not required; passengers may display their ticket on their phone or have their ticket ID available.

⏰ Important: If a passenger buys a ticket last minute from the driver or mobile agent, they must pay a $10 fee on top of the total transaction amount. Discounted, fluctuating, or promotional prices are available for online bookings or for in-person bookings made at least 24 hours before the trip. For any in-person bookings made within 24 hours of departure, the full ticket fee will be collected.

Any extras paid for (bike, ski, luggage, etc.) are non-refundable even if not brought at check-in — please book accordingly.

🔒 Protection of Luggage

In an effort to protect all luggage stored under the coach, items should be packed or covered in such a way as to not be damaged during transit or to not damage other luggage. Breakable items (TVs) or those with pointy (ski poles) or greasy (bike chains) parts must be secured by a box, suitable covering, or plastic wrap/bags.

Rider Express reserves the right to refuse any baggage that is not packaged securely. All items must be in a suitable container that is not at risk of being damaged or causing damage. Acceptable baggage includes: suitcases, duffel bags, toolboxes, trunks, storage containers, and securely taped cardboard boxes.

It is your responsibility to ensure your checked luggage is placed in the correct compartment prior to departure. As well, it is your responsibility to remove all personal items brought onto the coach. Please ensure you clearly advise the representative loading the luggage of your arrival point, to ensure your luggage is placed into the appropriate compartment. Rider Express will not be responsible for items left behind on the coach or luggage issues as a result of a change in your arrival point.

🔖 Recommendation: To avoid luggage mix-ups, place a visible identifier on your stored luggage including a luggage tag with your name, address, and phone number. The company is not responsible for a passenger picking up the wrong piece of luggage.
